The Colosseum- it was built in 80 A.D. by emperor Vespasiano as a battlefield for gladiators to fight inside. This is most preserved treasured monument where 50,000 spectators witnessed the bloody bath and slaughter by the gladiators.
The Pantheon - Italy’s most ancient temple is Pantheon, which was built in 27 BC and rebuilt in 120 AD. One of the best preserved buildings, it is considered the most important achievement of ancient Roman architecture because of its magnificent dome.
